Early 1900's Silver Rimmed Prescription Glasses & Hardcase.The eyeglasses in the image have silver frames and were made by S.G. Engel, an optometrist and optician in Salamanca, NY. They are antique, likely from the early 1900s, and feature round, rimmed lenses with a prescription. The eyeglasses come with the vintage hardcase they were purchased in and displays the Optometrist's name and area. It's marked with silver and red trim and has peeled in one area (circled in red in photo) that makes it look as if it's covered in faux leather or perhaps a vinyl.Both have usual vintage use & scufs but both are still functional so please view photos carefully to determine stated size and condition prior to purchasing.
